Almost every amazing thread I read, often by thought leaders/SMEs, there's at least one person posting account numbers/begging....The thread could be about any topic, by anyone globally..

You see great comments and conversations - and then, BAM! What sort of new culture is this?

I understand the part about some influencers/philanthropists/organizations, announcing giveaways and specifically asking people to post their account numbers.

What I just can't get a handle on is this blatant disregard for basic netiquette/this self-entitled spamminng/begging

When did we get to this level of social disconnect/lack of basic civility and respect for people's spaces/boundaries?

Saw a series of poignant posts by someone who'd lost a family member to #COVID19. Beneath this very painful outpouring, some **** were sharing account #/begging!
