#aptoapril Tail

Your kitsune friend invited you out to lunch today. It's been a long week and you're glad for the break. The waiter takes you over to a table with a booth on one side and a chair on the other.
It's meant for large customers, but it's the only space where all those tails can be tucked away. As the conversation lulls you both take a moment to mull over the menus. One thing you've learned from being around your kitsune friend:
When he's distracted his tails do tend to wander a bit. Usually they just end up lazily wagging or idly wrapped around furniture, but you know you can expect the occasional soft brush.
So at first you don't think on it at all when you feel fur glide gently past your paws under the table. Even when the tip curls around your heels you don't pay it any mind. He'll notice in a moment and you wouldn't want to embarrass him.
It even feels kind of nice as it slowly curls up around your...ankles? You glance up at him, but he still seems caught trying to decide. You shift your legs a little hoping he'll notice, but the tails just keep slow winding around.
A gently tickle easing up your shins. If anything, they squeeze tighter for a moment before you knees are buried as well. You cough a bit hoping to get his attention as you look down at yourself.
Your thighs have started to disappear and the pressure is starting to left you from your chair as the tailtips slide underneath you. Finally working up the nerve you start to stammer something out, but look up to find a pair of twinkling eyes looking back at you over his menu.
He puts it down to reveal a familiar chesire grin as the winding pauses at your waist. “Oh? Something on your mind?” He leans forward to rest his chin on a paw and you can feel the tails gently squeeze your legs.
“You know. I'm so glad you were willing to join me today. There's just been so much going on lately and we haven't had the time. I'm in and out of the office, but you?
If you'll forgive me saying, you've sounded so stressed out lately when we've had the chance to exchange a few words. I think you could use a little break. Hmmmm?” You start to stammer out a reply, but let out a little squeak as the tails wind up again to cover your belly.
“Now, now. I know you might like to fuss, but I really feel I must insist. I think we both know you're enjoying this. I might not have mentioned it again, but I haven't forgotten that office chair incident.”
The tails pause again and start to gently squeeze. A slow ripply pressure that goes up and down all the way from your toes up to your belly and back. “Though I suppose this could seem a...sudden. So I'll tell you what.
Look me in the eye and tell me to stop. Tell me you WANT me to stop and we can just finish out lunch and I can chalk this up as a bad idea. Just say the word. If you do want me to stop that is?” You open your mouth to speak and pause.
They feel like a blanket fresh from the dryer. Gentle squeezes are working out the ache in your leg that hasn't wanted to go away since you took that long walk the other day. You look him in the eye and slowly close your mouth. “Perfect.”
The tails start to gently wind up. You notice now you're getting a few looks, but your friend doesn't seem to mind. You can feel the gentle grip wind up under your arms, softly hugging your chest and stop. “There now, isn't that better?
We'll leave your arms free. We still need to eat after all!” You hear a scraping below you and look back to see one of the still loose tails looping through the back of the chair as he drags it aside.
“I don't think you'll be needing this hard thing for now. Just relax. We'll have a nice cozy lunch. And afterwards you can head on back to work.” He smiles again as the waiter starts to come over.
“Maybe. Or....maybe by then you'll be a bit to wound up in other things. Plenty of time to decide.”
