KJ Hamler is a guy that I could realistically see being there for the #Bears at 43. It would be a perfect mesh of need (speed) and value for the pick. In this THREAD I'll be going over how not only do I think he could be a long term piece for Chicago but how he'll impact year one
A lot is being made about Chicago being "all-in" because of their trade for Foles and the signing of Robert Quinn. For this reason many believe that they need immediate impact players in the draft. The thinking is that Hamler will give them that needed speed boost *SOUND*
You can have two slot options in 2x2 formations. That allows Anthony Miller and KJ Hamler to both be on the field and in the slot at the same time. *Sound*
Whats great about bunch sets is the defense is limited to the coverages that they can run successfully against it and you have three free access receivers that you can run out of any of the three spots in the bunch.
These are three common formations run in the NFL that would allow Hamler to be used year one without worrying about being pressed while he develops his game on the outside. Fully believe in Nagy's ability to put his players in the best position to win.
