I haven't booted Windows 10 in at least 8 months but my printer won't see anything coming from Linux so now I have to sit here for probably hours waiting to pound f12 at reboot because the bios is faulty and won't automatically redirect when the 1st choice boot isn't there.
Okay it's been more than 2hrs and the Windows machine has only managed 1 of the promised "several" reboots. The printer and I are now rehashing the fight about the Linux machine being a thing that exists while I drink and try to be ready for the next Windows reboot.
Okay 2, it pulled another one while I was typing that. (I made it on time)
I DID IT!!! IT'S PRINTING FROM THE LINUX MACHINE!!!

Suck it, Windows! (Whenever you're done updating, that is...)
Aw crap, toner's low.
Eh, this is good enough for me to use. Saved a copy (free sewing pattern) to a spare thumb drive too, I'll ask one of the office ladies if it's okay to print copies for my coworkers there tomorrow...
Well look who FINALLY decided to join the party! Ofc the Windows machine comes online just as I'm debating whether to sew the 1st mock-up tonight or just go to bed...
Nvm, Windows is frozen.
It unfroze!
...now every individual program needs to update one at a time.
It's getting late and I've had a touch of rum. Best not try to sew like this. I'll resume this thread tomorrow.
