Okay.... I'm going to be really honest... maybe too honest but whenever i was younger i always felt as though i wasn't black. I was told that we spoke, looked, and acted a certain way. I've NEVER matched the criteria to be black if I'm being honest.
I was told I talked white and I'm not as close to the culture because I went to white schools. The white kids weren't better. Most of them liked me because I didn't act like "normal black girls." I don't think that's talked about a lot in the black community... not enough anyway
