it’s #SAAM and i’m going to tell my story my way because i never had the chance to: a thread

i hate that i’m still in this town. i hate that many people here have a warped perception of what it means to b assaulted. many of my old friends, acquaintances and even strangers let me down immensely when i was assaulted. i will never forget the pain i was put through.

i hate the fact that i’m afraid to talk about this. my heart is racing because i am doing this. so if you are going to harass me over this thread, please stop reading now

because of #COVID19 i have returned home from college. however i do not view this town as home. no matter where i turn, i find that i feel as though i’m in danger, that i’m a walking target. a sight for people to gawk at and whisper to one another
