MENTAL HEALTH: Studies show the mental health of new mothers is affected more by the ability to give a child diapers than the ability to give a child food. Diapers can allow self-confidence and lessen self-doubt -- for both parents.
PHYSICAL HEALTH: Clean babies are happier, and less prone to infection. But unclean babies can be rejected at daycare or in pre-K, which is especially sad when they are socializing for the very first time.
