gerard saying theyre not doing any press for the reunion makes me sad not because we aren't getting any content (i don't mind that and completely respect their decision to avoid interviews) but because it makes me worried abt how the band feels about the reunion-

-like we know they love actually performing- they looked so happy at the shrine and there's no question abt that. im referring more to the corporate side of things. i remember gerard (i think) saying he felt like he was stuck in a machine when mcr got big before they broke up

and im worried theyre very reluctant to reunite (and probably even more reluctant to properly be a band again and/or release new music) because mcr probably feels like this separate entity mostly owned by w*rner that they don't feel fully in control of

& that makes me very sad bc as much as i love their solo projects mcr is my favourite band. i love the unique sound they have together and the awesome stories and concepts they come up with. i wish mcr could exist without *mcr* the huge corporate entity and all that implies
