it's frustrating to see people insisting that Sanders' loss proves the democratic party is evil and must be destroyed when to me it's pretty clearly that kind of framing that lost Sanders the election. 1

if you really thought that the Dem party was intractable and unbeatable, I guess the thing to do is abandon electoral politics—which seems like a real shame after both Sanders and Warren had quite successful campaigns with extremely progressive agendas.

Like, if you never felt, "this is possible!" once during this campaign and you're a progressive I don't know where you were hiding.

losing really sucks, and obviously this is an incredibly bleak moment, but there's a lot of cause for hope as well. it's disheartening to see people throw that away.
