There's so much of this show to love, I have so many things to thank for it. Its something completely incredible, amazing, and it keeps giving me reasons to love it more and more.

I'm helplessly in love with this show (obviously) & at times I find myself stepping back and thinking 'this is just a turtles cartoon'
And that's exactly it, it's JUST a turtles cartoon, the fifth one to be exact, yet they go out of their way to make it insanely good & memorable

They challenge ppl to look at these character we’ve known in a new light, giving us all new reasons to love them again. And for ppl like me who didnt know or didnt care about tmnt, it introduced us to an amazing world & made us invested in the franchise, when we wouldnt otherwise

I started watching Rise on a whim, I didn't know it was a thing until a friend recommended it to me one day. And growing up, I didn't give a shit about the turtles, I thought they were cringe and stupid. It's the last thing I would of thought I'd be a fan of - and look me at now.

ROTTMNT is a constant flex. Not only does the animation go out (as we all know by now) but the story, characters, writing, voice acting, backgrounds, general art direction. Every one behind making this show cares deeply & has so much passion for the project.

It's a constant inspiration for me, and I cant imagine what Rise is sparking for the kids growing up with this show.
Even that; its targeted towards kids but its so easy for anyone to enjoy it! There's something for everyone in the show, luck for me tho, everything is for me pfft

Im a young person, but this show makes me feel like a kid again, it makes me jealous that IM not the one growing up with the show (and i didnt even have cable as a kid lmaoo)

I haven't felt like this for any piece of media, ever, or it's been so long that I can't remember. And Im so thankful the show can do that for me - being apart of the fandom and being apart of the show as it happens are experiences I hold very dear to me.

I spend hours on end making art, writing posts, making more art, and etc. cause I'm more than happy to dedicate all my energy into something I believe so fully in. It never disappoints and keeps getting better and better even when it seems like it's reached it peak.

(Like in three weeks from now I'll have 2000 more reasons to love rise after seeing the new episodes lmaoo)

To the crew, to the people I've met and that support me in the fandom, to the hosts behind this event, to everyone just...thank you! It's been an amazing week of collectively talking about what makes ROTTMNT so great. I hope this can be done again in the future ;w;
