Thread.

At left, you have reporting from @PDChina, a mouthpiece for the communist regime in Beijing.

At right, you have reporting on the same topics by @NBCNews.

If you can spot the difference, let me know, because I’m having a hard time.
About China “reopening”
Backlash because referring to a virus based on its origin location is racist as of 15 minute ago.
About trade related concerns and why Glorious China is important to not cut off. Would that we had cut them off before all this.
“No new cases” Part 1 (let’s see how long this lasts)
“No new cases” Part 2
“No new cases” Part 3, “imported” edition
More “names are racist” featuring @SecPompeo (this one is spooky in its similarity).
China as world savior. Honestly I think @NBCNews sells Chinese propaganda better than China’s own mouthpiece on this one.
China “cuts off” domestic spread.

No mention of how they loosed a deadly pandemic on the globe. Minor detail, I suppose.
Chinese ventilators make their way to New York. TBD if they won’t work but, if history is any guide, surely they won’t, just like in every other country.
And now the kicker. How do we respond? Cooperation led by China, of course! What better way to respond to a Chinese pandemic.
In case it isn’t obvious, it is deeply troubling that @NBCNews, an American press outfit, is covering news about how China has gotten the world sick in the exact same way that the actual Chinese propaganda sources do.
I don’t say this lightly, but I think it’s worth the time and energy of independent reporters and, if it rises to that level, @realDonaldTrump’s DoJ investigators, to get to the bottom of @NBCNews’s connection to and relationship with the communists in Beijing.
