My best friend Charlotte isn’t on Twitter, so I can gust about her here without embarrassing her. We ride in different barns, but I’ve got a message from mine saying they’re going to send my lesson horse away, because no income. I didn’t know how to react so I asked Charlotte.
Her first reaction was to help me. Do you know what she does? She’s an @USPS MAIL CARRIER! When she’s risking her wellbeing by touching every surface every day, and I couldn’t even find gloves or sanitizer for her (she refused to take the one my sister sent me).
Her heart is this pure to everyone. Her dad passed away last year to brain cancer, and she said that maybe she could use some insurance money to help me out. I almost slapped her for being so selfless. I think I will have to say goodbye to Lissa. But all this love lasts forever.
I think what I’m trying to say is, I believe in humanity. Because even in a time like this, the first thing that when we are lucky enough to think about, is HOW CAN I HELP? We are all good people. We can get through this. #WeWillMeetAgain
And it’s gush* obvs.
