JP and Rosemarie Ford's chemistry encapsulated a queer relationship dynamic that I really needed to see in '99, As an abused trans kid. seeing a proudly gay RTT openly turn down a proposition taught me that I didn't have to accept the expectations of others.
RTT taught me that men could have complex emotional dynamics with other men, and respect and defend women simultaneously. I can't speak on whether or not Jason Derulo and TSwift pulled that off; I refuse to watch the new film. Tom Hooper changed the choreo, I'm out
TBH this thread is 90% me trying to get up the nerve to watch the new film, just to see how bad it is compared to the '99 film. Should I do it, be honest
