Ok, watching this Avatar: The Last Airbender show for real now and preparing myself to be disappointed but not to say so in order not to hurt your feelings on the matter

Oh hey, Mae Whitman is the voice of Katara- that's a big point in its favor

So judging by the first five minutes of this Katara is the main hero?

Me watching a show called Avatar: The Last Airbender- "so are there any more airbenders? Or is Aang the only one?"

And is the Avatar always an airbender? And is there always only one airbender at a time?

Watching more of this show tonight because this trial period is only 7 days and I still have 55 episodes to watch. #ATLA

Are there just regular people in this world who aren't aligned to any of the four tribes and who can't bend anything?

It's pretty cool to realize that The Planeteers were the original element benders. And the Avatar is kinda like the Dalai Lama Captain Planet. #AvatarTheLastAirbender

If this were a more adult show i imagine that Jet would die and that this setup and his coolness is to make it extra tragic.
