3. Now to @nickjudin's 3/24 work in @JxnFreePress (separate publications), esp about what Reeves' initial order did, didn't do. He did only piece explaining "confusing" probs with order as even other media here blasted Nick's work as false, but no link to https://www.jacksonfreepress.com/news/2020/mar/24/gov-tate-reeves-orders-limited-gatherings-today-ex/

4. They did, however, link to this later interview w @tatereeves, which does show need for better follow-up and tougher questions. @JxnFreePress also requested an interview in wake of @nickjudin's stellar reporting (and personal attacks by governor's deputy), but no response.

5. So to @NewYorker: It's shitty to crib our sources like this without even links and, frankly, is beneath your tradition. These are hard-working journalists under fire in Mississippi for daring to ask real questions (and read orders), and we worry about making payroll now.

6. For those of you not in media reading this, one of my reporters could not scan down a @NewYorker enterprise piece, pull the same sources and write a story based on it without hearing from them.

To be very clear, @NewYorker, here are the two pieces @ashtonpittman did for @MSFreePress interviewing mayors before and soon after Reeves' first executive orders. Why not at least links?
