Thread on how I friend zoned my boyfriend the first 8 months

So.. we came back to school in January and he was a transfer student. My cousins birthday is early January and we were throwing a big party.

Night of the party I get this dm.. didn’t think much of it because everybody was in my DMs for the addy

Few days later he try’s to shoot.. REJECT I figured he was another thirsty...

So now I’m living my life enjoying being single because I just let go of my toxic ex

TWO MONTHS LATER.. he shows up again but on my Instagram atp I’m like why is he still trying but i was in a good mood this day. Friend zoned him politely, I think it went well

So I have his number and I’m debating on if I should text him.. but then I’m like fuck it. He seems nice and tried 2 times on different social media platforms.

I texted him a couple days later

Boom. We instantly clicked, texted every all day for a few months. But it was always casual and friendly!!

Then we started going on friend “dates” always ate a some restaurant. WE LOVE TO EAT that’s all we did together, everyday we asked “what you eat?”
that was me because I knew it would involve food LMAO

Fast forward.. went on summer break kept in contact but less often. I was on a money mission summer 19 THESE PAST MONTHS HE WAS ALWAYS SUPERRRR SWEET, CARING, A TRUE GENTLEMAN. I was blind

Came back to school in August was dealing with a F*CK BOY that was soooo draining.. I know I know.. why not switch out my penny for a dime Idk I WAS BLIND TO HIS KINDNESS (always appreciated it though) we all been mentally gone over a f*ck boy bye don’t judge

Sooo the day my friends met him ( also our first time going to church together!!!!) after church we went to brunch. (As friends) THE WHOLE TIME DRE IS THROWING SHADE B/C he thought I was lying about me & him being friends

Me: embarrassed asf cause I thought friend was hearing all the shade

My closest friends knew I was being dumb, they wanted me to date him sooo bad they knew he was a genuinely good guy

Whole time I was slowly falling in love just didn’t see it he always had me smiling at my phone, always otp with him, always chilling with him. He was a complete 180 of what I was use to

So I finally accepted that I was feeling him, and after that we were inseparable but we both saw it coming..

Mid October I asked him one night like... “you know you not in the friend zone anymore” atp I had been spending a night anyway
