I've been running some private data analysis for a couple of days that suggest that u.s. COVID-19 reported death counts in particular are 2.5x - 3.5x lower than "similar" nations (Italy, UK, France). there's been news here and there that support this analysis. https://twitter.com/catcontentonly/status/1247202939531386881
I'll continue to watch and analyze this privately.

the scope of this situation is almost definitely being suppressed in the u.s. (even with as dire as it already appears), much to our harm,

and I'm doubtful that this'll ever be properly rectified or investigated.
