Okay, if you are looking for hidden gem horror/occult movies, and you have @Shudder, I have a couple recommendations.

First, THE ROOM, not the one about the kidnapped mom and child. This is about a struggling couple who buy a house wth a room that grants wishes. 1/
It’s conceptually interesting, and held together by good performances.

Worth a watch, certainly. 2/
Ha! I forgot, not the Tommy Wiseau movie, either! 3/
But the movie on @shudder that was a big surprise was DANIEL ISN’T REAL, a tale of a young man who abandoned his imaginary friend as a child, only to have him return at college age.

The @AVCFilm didn’t love it, but they’re absolutely wrong on this one. 4/
DANIEL ISN’T REAL seems like it’s headed for ugly tropes in spots but turns most of them on their heads. It’s smart, subtle, stylish, and acted spectacularly. A really disquieting but delightful horror confection. I saw it on @shudder, not sure who else has it. Recommended! End/
