i think re: people saying animal crossing needs to be "mean" again--i think what i miss is the progression of friendship? like in horizons everyone& #39;s equally friendly to you off the bat and (so far, anyway) it doesn& #39;t really progress from that other than like, villagers i make

more of an effort to talk to send me letters occasionally. still lovely and endearing, but i miss the feeling of having them be like, cordial strangers that you befriend over time. i personally don& #39;t miss the mean shit though
