As we analyze the differing black folk morbidity & mortality for #COVID19, I got my first assertion that “we” are dying because we are fat & don’t take responsibility for our health. Folks this is what victim blaming looks like in healthcare. @uche_blackstock warned us about this

I was told I am blind to this because I live a life of excess as a New Orlenian. So, I am too forgiving. This “insight” is more trash on top of the original garbage statement. We are surrounded by intellectually fraudulent “hot takes” so I had practice shutting this mess down.

Oh... and this insight came from a black man that worships at the alter of body building. Love that he focuses on fitness. Hate that it has become a tool to shame the rest of us and justify our mistreatment.
