Another person has died of COVID-19 in Manitoba, making it the province's third death. #glbwpg
There are 13 new cases of the virus today, for a total of 217. 12 people are in hospital, including six in intensive care. 21 people have recovered from the virus. #glbwpg
No immediate word on the patient who died. Previously, a woman in her sixties and a man in his fifties died of the virus -- both after spending time in intensive care. #glbwpg
Cadham Provincial Lab did 781 tests for the virus yesterday. 14,280 tests have been done since early February. #glbwpg
Dr. Brent Roussin is urging Manitobans to refrain from gathering during holidays like Easter and Passover, which are coming up this weekend. #glbwpg
The province's news release indicates it's creating "assessment clinics" for COVID-19 positive patients. The spaces will offer services for people who have tested positive or those with respiratory symptoms consistent with the virus. #glbwpg
These sites will also conduct tests for the virus at a separate area from where primary care is happening for COVID-19 patients. #glbwpg
