There’s what you hear on the news,then there is real life.Reality is that Businesses need actual cash http://now.You"> http://now.You either have 1-2 months worth of wages to pay, or you haven’t.
Biz rate grant not arrived, bank closed (awaiting a call back that never arrives), furlough portal ‘should’ be open by end of April, moneys a *few* weeks after.
We’re not unique, this is the situation most of your loved locals will be in but put a brave face on.Reality is that who will have the cash will survive,the rest will way before any help arrives.
Us? We have April, maybe May. We are getting a massively appreciated trickle through the webshop, but it’s a drop in the ocean. Landlords..ha!Landlords..
The Light centre is actually closed,unable to trade even if you wanted to trade t/away (which we don’t want to anyway) however it has been made clear that we have to pay the June 1/4 in advance..
+ a portion of the March 1/4 we deferred. That will never happen,how can you expect rent from a centre you closed & a trader that did not trade (in advance remember).
Bond Court - no official comments. Reality is when it will get down to it,if money has not arrived, Businesses will first drop staff then run on fumes until possible.

We live life week to week, safe in the knowledge there is nothing diff anybody else is doing. Still you beat yourself about it ‘cause you should be good enough to have a solution. It’s all good, we’ll play we the cards we are dealt. We are good players
