if ur not upto speed, wisconsin has royally suppressed the vote by breaking the absentee vote grace period requiring all absentee votes to be at ur ckerk’s office today otherwise they’ll be thrown out

our governor made an emergency order to postpone in person voting to june and extended absentee voting. none of the GOP who were supposed to meet on creating the order showed up then they immediately called the courts to overturn the order once it was created, which they did

the cherry on top being that the entire court met *remotely* to vote to overturn the order, because of converns abt coronavirus, aka the entire reason why our election should be postponed in the first place. these people are evil and must be put thru a guillotine

i signed up to get an absentee ballot last wednesday, one day before the deadline, and it never arrived at my door. i live in chicago, it’s not that far for a letter to get mailed. never got an explanation, apparently it’s happened to many other people

all polling locations in milwaukee (where i’m registered) are closed because of coronavirus so i can’t even risk my life to go vote in person. the system is broken

i could try to vote back in my hometown since my ID & other proof of residence needed to change ur polling location (which u can do day of in wisconsin!) have my parents address on them. but it’s likely that location is also closed, gonna call ahead and see, that’s my only option

update: turns out there are still five polling locations open in milwaukee, including one pretty close to where i'm registered. there's 180 in the county but only 5 open. guess i'm going to milwaukee

in line a full couple of blocks away from the polling place. average wait time seems to be 2+ hours. college kids behind me in line refuse to stay 6 ft apart, say they’ve “made peace with getting covid” disgusting, this whole thing

been line for an hour 45, still outside but almost there. it also just hailed for 10 minutes lol

just got done voting, enjoying an in car dinner. the wisconsin court system, the democratic national convention, and everybody involved in supressing the vote this election cycle can all burn in hell
