Trump is full of shit, that will come as a surprise to no one but I've done the math and I can prove it.
It will also shock no one to hear one of his favorite games is manipulating numbers not just monetary but all numbers. For instance, when he downplayed this pandemic in the

beginning he would refer to the 27K-72K deaths in the US every year from the regular flu to make it appear more deadly than CV-19. But any statistician will tell you the number of people who die isn't as important as a pandemic's mortality rate. That is how many people

succumb to a disease ÷ how many people were infected. The regular flu can range anywhere from 0.5-2%MR. Same with Obama/H1N1. Trump likes to talk about how many people died, which he exaggerates. He says 17,000 people died when it was really 12,469 out of 6.8 million infected,

still en force. I suspect he will regret that. At any rate he eschews the numbers by drawing attention to whatever elements he believes will create some semblance or notion he is dominating in some way when a closer look at the real statistics will provide a bigger picture.

So, here is my fact check on Donald Trump's claim regarding America's testing dominance.

Trump claims the US has done more testing than any other country (let's say for the sake of argument that the number of tests completed & reported to WHO are actually legitimate).

Yes this statement is true BUT, & you knew there'd be a but; what he is conveniently leaving out is how the 4 nations sharing the Top 5 with US, have a combined population which = 77% of ours. The US Population >+23% all the people in Spain, Italy, France, & Germany put together.

Why this is important:

When Trump brags about America having the greatest testing numbers in the world he is referring simply to the number of tests given but the true measure can be found in the % of the population which has been tested. & Again I'm sure it will shock to no one

to learn, the US Is tragically, criminally deficient in comparison to the other 4 nations rounding up the Top 5.

"No one is testing like US", he is also correct. Just know it is NOT because we are superior, but instead because the US has tested < 0.2% of the other nations in the Top 5 combined who have alternatively tested >50,683% more than US per capita. & that's your math for today.
