so since i've noticed a lot of talk about the supermoon, here's a tip for people who might try stargazing because supermoon: also try stargazing when the moon isnt up! the moon is a very bright object and tends to cause many stars to not be visible. (1/3)

speaking from experience, the full moon is exceedingly bright compared to most of the stars in the sky, almost equivalent to a large amount of light pollution. however, feel free to stargaze even with the supermoon anyway! theres still quite some stars visible even then. (2/3)

to end this, let me just say that stargazing is a great activity and it really makes you appreciate how beautiful the sky is. dont let this thread stop you from stargazing, rather, let it ignite a new potential hobby!
