I've been thinking a lot about how medical companies are now offering free tele-health services for therapy now that we're quarantined.

It's interesting to me and just another of the ways that these institutions make clear that they are not prioritizing the most vulnerable.
There are countless people who need to access therapists everyday without a global pandemic. But, it hasn't been until now that providers have figured out a way to make that possible on a grand scale. It's perplexing.
For many people with mental health needs, a major obstacle is a lack of access. Tele-health has become one option to address this issue. Unfortunately, it is still reserved for many privileged people who have many options for medical services.
It's so disheartening to know that there are people, like me, struggling with mental health needs everyday that these companies have the resources to address but they won't and don't until wealthy white people are struggling, too.
Major crises like this expose the pecking order in society. The racial, gender, and class hierarchies underlie everything including life saving and sustaining measures.

It's devastating.
