Yesterday, an Asian woman in Brooklyn was the victim of an acid attack by a man who poured acid on her. She suffered severe 2nd degree burns across her face & body.
This is a direct result of the US& #39; increasing anti-Chinese violence domestically & abroad.

The rise in violence in the US against Chinese people & Asians perceived as Chinese is a direct extension of US aggression against China. To truly challenge this violence in the US, we must challenge the US imperialism against China that& #39;s the root of it. https://nypost.com/2020/04/06/brooklyn-woman-burned-outside-home-in-possible-acid-attack/">https://nypost.com/2020/04/0...
We as Asian Americans must change how we view the current rise in violence against Asian diasporas from viewing it as an isolated domestic issue that& #39;s solvable by liberal anti-prejudice narratives to viewing it as an extension of US imperialist aggression against China abroad.
Only once we recognize that the rise in violence against Chinese & Asians perceived as Chinese in the US is part of and an extension of US imperialist aggression against China, can we realize that we must stop seeking acceptance into the US empire & challenge this US aggression.
