Reasons why The Professor from Money Heist and Michael Scofield are so similar, a thread:

Neither one of them are violent, or resort to killing in any episode. Both use acts of self defence only, and never intentionally attack someone if it’s unnecessary.

Both do origami throughout the series. Usually keeps the mind at rest, and increases concentration.

Both of them have already planned out the job beforehand, and all they need to do, is tell/teach it to the people they’re going to be working with. The Professor with all the classes and model of the bank. And Scofield with the tattoos and blueprints of the prison.

Both use other people to do the job, and never do any of the dirty work. The Professor sits back, plans it all out, and allows his “students” to carry out the job. Scofield planned the jobs before hand, and will get involved, but only the same amount as The Professor would.

Both fell in love with someone from the opposite team, who went on to join them in becoming a criminal. The Professor fell in love with Raquel. And Scofield with Sara.
