Okay so boom: My grandma was living with my mom. Before I left to college in (Louisiana) I was taking care of her & so was my family. My mom & my aunt are my grandmaâs only 2 daughters.
So my aunt is the POA over my grandma. Yea she got control of her money & all that good stuff. But remember... my MOM is the was / was the one taking care of my grandma. Not my aunt. So .. my mom & my aunt have always been beefing & they would always try to bring me & my siblings in the middle .. but we ainât want shit to do with that. Especially because our family is small & we needed to be here for my grandma before anything.
So long story short, my aunt came & took my grandma to her house ... per usual ... like twice out the year .. so boom. So Iâm calling & calling trying to ft my grandma & talk to her.. no answer, day by day by day. So Iâm thinking itâs cus my mom & my aunt been beefing.. so I send my aunt a message like âcan you please answer so I can talk to my grandma.â GIRLLLLLLL she gone call back & say -
âDonât text my phone unless you saying Hello firstâ https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="đ" title="Expressionless face" aria-label="Emoji: Expressionless face"> & then preceded to say âyâall are all cut out my life .. blah blah blah.â So Im like well can I just talk to my grandma & she was like âyou checking up on her, sheâs doing just fine.â Whole time .....
She was in a nursing home 2 week prior to that. Thatâs why they werenât answering. Cus my grandma wasnât even around them. They barely go to the nursing home & see her. They gave her like 4 pairs of shirts & pants. Like my grandma used to be a model & court reporter..
Wtf she gone do with 4 outfits.. lame af. So I didnât end up finding out she was in a nursing home until my aunt told my stepdad but NOT my mom.. or my siblings ... & was soo happy she put her in a nursing home. Just to make my momma mad. OUT OF ANGER ... ?? youâre sick.
When I found out I went into depression. Extremely fast.. thought about giving up on everything. Nursing homes make dementia patients worse. You canât recover from there.
