Bernie opposed it because he’s a social chauvinist who sees US workers at the top of the global labor hierarchy like it’s all a zero-sum game.

Anyway, no relation to the OP, just a casual observation.

You all demonized Hillary for supporting TPP because a bunch of studies (correctly) predicted that living costs in America would rise if we privilege trading with countries with labor laws more in line with ours.

Anyhow it’s good to see people drop the knee-jerk opposition to free trade and admit that they can and indeed do benefit labor if designed right.
