snape is a well written and complex character. but dont go pulling on me the anti hero card or some other shit. he did one (1) good thing and spent the rest of his life stalking & obsessing over people, bullying students and literally ruining lives out of pure selfishness

he bullied neville so much that he became his boggart, laughed at hermione bc of her front teeth to a point where she made them look smaller, literally ruined remus’ life by telling everyone he was a werewolf, remus had to leave the job he finally found after 12 years of poverty

not to mention the fact he didnt care that a one year old baby was gonna die until he found that it was lily’s son and even then he only cared about saving her, not james and not harry. idgaf if he’s complex he’s a huge piece of trash
