Particulates are not just smog. Waterloo Region has over 80 quarries in the area so factor that in to because silica impairs lungs and it may be a factor here. Are Canadian fatalities showing similar trends to particulate pollution exposure. We need it mapped.
If fatalities are particulate based, that means masks do work.
