What I've learned since COVID and ~working from home:

•My hands practically live on my face
•My kids are rad—I'm thinking they got all my recessive traits
•When trees waive in the wind, my son waives back and says "hewwo" (he's nearly 2)
•He also says "sowwy" when he's fallen, and cheers himself, "Go, Will!", when he runs his fastest or jumps from a piece of furniture
•He's often jumping from furniture
•My home-office window is 6 feet from blooming jasmine
•You can smell jasmine from 10 feet
•"Power Rangers" doesn't seem to have a plot
•Exponential growth is unnatural to grasp, even for experts
•Good quiet is like rich soil, and it's quite different than pure silence
•The country has become more neighborly in duress than it had been in ease
•However great my colleagues, family life is far better
