with xx number of stations to do lame promo & pretend to laugh at dj jokes, or only if they do a festival for free, or only if they write a fat check, or only if it’s all in English. I want their music played bc it has organic demand. full stop. but that’s not how the biz works.

so yeah as someone who loves music, i have fundamental issues with the industry as a whole & the way they treat artists & disrespect art. I have an issue with how the way they run their business stifles creativity & artistic development while prioritizing corporate agendas.
