Historical Chinese Dramas that I love and highly recommend:

1.) Story of Yanxi Palace
- Set during the Qing Dynasty
- Strong and capable Female Lead
- Gorgeous Cinematography
Lastly, the STORYLINE is so WELL WRITTEN!

2.) Ruyi’s Royal Love in the Palace

- It follows the same set of historical figures as YP, from a different POV
- I watched this after YP and cried my eyes out.
- It’s a devastating tale about falling in and out of love.
- Quite long (87 eps) but worth it
