My random tip for anyone who wants a recipe for a type of food from another country, go to Google Translate and translate “recipe for x” into the language of the food and copy the result into your search box.

That should turn up recipes from cooks from that are from that culture instead of random NYT editors or Food Network folks.

If the results are in a language you don’t know, spend some time Google Translating it bit by bit. You can probably find some YouTube videos this way too.

Then, if you want you can search in English too and see how it all compares. I never look at just one recipe for something.
