Rich kid Fëanorians. Who wear clothes that are worth more than some of their homes. With bodyguards every time they leave

Drunk on alcohol that was aged by Maia. Screaming parties in the when their parents are away. Drunken whispers of uncertainty and a hollow feeling
The sons of Fëanor with affluenza. Who feel like they can’t make friends outside their family.
This doesn’t say that they grew up in a loveless home. I think Fëanor & Nerdanel were amazing parents, trying to raise them as well rounded as possible. Making them do chores and such
But they can’t escape the golden ballrooms, the Royal banquets with gold cups and plates. The custom made clothes given by grandparents. The formal etiquette training, the proper way to wave at crowds.
There’s no way to escape the fact that they’re higher, that they have special privileges. They can have the nicest harps and necklaces. It’s unavoidable.

They can relate to others, doing chores, having hobbies. But who other than their family could relate to the golden sham?
How could they make friends outside of their family? What If people just used them for their money? Doesn’t it seem strange to you how their only recorded friends in the books are their cousins? They had no other friends.
I feel like Celegorm and Maglor are the worst victims of this.

Anyway, stream Affluenza by Conan Grey
