Here’s a lil story time about how @casspernyovest ‘s new smash hit #Amademoni was made (THREAD)

So as everyone knows, Pop Smoke passed away in Feb this year (RIP). As a great fan of the UK Drill and Chicago drill sound, I made this beat as a tribute to him in a “The return of the GOAT” series of my beat snippets.

In this series, I post a beat and share it on my social media platforms asking my followers to tag their favorite artist. It was very popular with no reviews discrediting the Drill approach.

Later on in the month I was listening to gospel on a Sunday. I came across a beautiful song by the late Vuyo Mokoena (RIP) and Jabu Hlongwana titled ‘Siyawanyathela’ from the Joyous Celebration 7 album. Really enjoyed the song

Suddenly I had a brainwave

The dance move supported the phrase. I got inspired to record the hook as you guys know it

Hook is done, song is sounding amazing...now comes the part to figure out who I add on the song...this is where it gets exciting...

I pause the song and sit in the living room to watch tv for a while. Cassper’s good for that comes on and right after he does the Pop Smoke dance...Another Brainwave! I’ve found the artist!

Cass hosts an event the next day and previews the song for the first time and the song trends on twitter before release. The rest is History

So, to conclude...No we did not “Bite” Pop Smoke’s Dior or any other joint.
