Doesn’t this all just make you... wanna go apeshit? Like absolutely hog wild. 100% feral. Is this how the French felt at Bastille?
This has gone past the point of neglect. This is an active desire to see the most affected and disenfranchised communities suffer and die. Our government has failed us and I’m losing my ability to say that and not take to the streets and try to start a fucking riot.
I dunno guys, I just am really curious when the public is going to acknowledge how horribly they’ve been treated. And the truth is many of us have known for a long time how awful it is, but we don’t feel like we have the power to change it...
So we didn’t. Thus, the longer we wait for the day to start that revolution, the longer we will be viewed as history’s greatest cowards. Those who clung to powerlessness and passiveness as the world crumbled around us. Is this really how we’ll be remembered for this crisis?
It’s on all of us. I’m probably the farthest person from leading that change that needs to happen but you better believe I’m ready and willing to risk everything to join that kind of a movement. What more do we have to fucking lose, Christ.
I keep coming back to this thread because I just can’t stop getting so worked up. People are dying. Those that have hijacked our government are willing to kill. They have no fiber of moral consciousness, these are people that have put children in camps. They go missing often.
Those in camps are the same people that are fighting to survive by working under the very people that are perpetuating this horrid affair. Essential worker my ass, you hired them because you know you have glorified slave labor. But you know what is the most frustrating thing?
