Joking and speculating aside, I’m genuinely curious as to why Street Fighter V has no swimsuit alt costumes for the male characters, while all the female characters have AT LEAST one swimsuit each.

Is it a fear of making the dudes look too “sexy” if they were dressed in nothing but swim trunks? Because Gill’s default outfit is practically a speedo as it is, and we’ve already seen Ryu in his underwear with the costume code. Swimsuits wouldn’t be much different, to my eyes.

This thread isn’t about being grumpy or ranting (I’ve done enough in the past, heh), I’m just really curious about the reasoning behind the decision. Corporate mandates? ESRB?
I see no reason why they couldn’t have at least given the fellas summer-themed skins, if not swimsuits!
