1/4. The military faces a moral crisis. The current president has made clear that our loyalty is to him, not the Constitution, but him alone. The #NavySecretary clumsy words and actions are reflective of this view.

2/4. @RepDonBacon @DonJBacon, a Brig Gen, and his supporters @dcrponline and @NEGOP must answer why The Congressman has uttered no opinion, one way or another, about @SECNAV. Surely he has an opinion, but he will not comment, as @SenatorFischer rightly did.

3/4. Those of us #Veterans in #Nebraska who served deserve an answer. Frankly, Congressman, I am less concerned with where you stand on this than the fact that you remain silent, as if the military we both love is not in crisis. It is in crisis.

4/4. The U.S. Military belongs to all Americans. It is not simply some line in the federal budget. Constituents of #NE02 need to know where you stand on leadership and ethical issues like this, not just where you stand on budgets.
