IYA! Here is our Arts Council England (ACE) thread for how they might help you 👇

They're at @ace_national if you wanna tweet them.
Most ACE funding streams are frozen until further notice in order to create the emergency fund. The full link to all this info is here but we're gonna break it down a bit: https://www.artscouncil.org.uk/covid19
1) Funding for organisations outside of the National Portfolio.

The Arts Council have a list of organisations + buildings they give regular funding to called the "National Portfolio". This is for ORGANISATIONS that aren't on that list. If you're an individual, move down to 2 👇
If you are an Organisation outside the portoflio then you can apply for up to ÂŁ35K.
Round 1: 9th - 16th April
Round 2: 16th - 30th April
Info: https://www.artscouncil.org.uk/funding/financial-support-organisations-outside-national-portfolio
2) Funding for INDIVIDUALS.

If you're an individuals you can apply for up to ÂŁ2,500 from the Arts Council and as far as we're aware it doesn't have to be anything to do with a project.

Round 1: 9th - 16th April
Round 2: 16th - 30th April
If you need access support there's an FAQ button on the website and ACE are telling you to ask them for help with what you need. Email them and ask for a support worker if you need one, we don't know how they intend to help yet but you should ask.
At the bottom of the link I've put below you can find this information in large print / easy to read / BSL formats:

3) Funding for National Portfolio Organisations.

This is just for companies + buildings on that big list of regular funding. It hasn't got a full timeline yet but info will be here when it's ready: https://www.artscouncil.org.uk/covid-19/financial-support-national-portfolio-organisations
TO DO LIST:

If you're applying it would be helpful to:

1) Make an account on Grantium which is the online portal the Arts Council will use to assess the applications. It can take up to 5 days for your account to be "approved". Do that here: https://applications.artscouncil.org.uk/frontOffice.jsf
Also, the fund isn't live until the round opens so if you make a profile and the fund you want to apply for isn't showing up, don't panic. It will show up when the round opens and then you can register for it.
2) If you struggle to make an account go here: https://www.artscouncil.org.uk/contact-us . Grantium is difficult to use and the arts council are here to help you so don't be nervous to ask for help.

You can also ask one of our lot @BoyAndPen who knows about grantium if you want.
3) Find some support if you think you need it. Grantium + Arts Council apps can be challenging so here are some people who could help.

@newdiorama are doing a reading service, go to their pinned tweet you can signup and they'll try match you with an experienced producer to help
Drop us a message, we've got producers on the team who might be able to read stuff. No promises, we're all juggling precarity / child-care / other stuff too but we'll do our best.

Other lovely people we've noticed offering help are: @daisthehale and @daveralf
Otherwise check your local art-y building / theatre / organisation. A lot of them are offering to read stuff and you could always drop them an email and ask someone to be on standby to help you. Knock on those metaphorical doors, this is important.
If you can offer more help to someone please leave a message at the end of this thread so people can see.

Or, if you have any more info, we're all-ears.

We'll try add to this as we learn stuff too.
You can follow @WCArtistGroup.
