As a young curious Indian, I was very keen in understanding the situation that time. Fm most of the newspaper editorials, I could only decipher that this was a clear US conspiracy.. 2/5

..as the FDA was banning only the generic medicines frm India & nt d much needed life saving medicines like those required fr cancer, cardiovascular diseases, neurological medicines etc. It ws said that there was n agenda to challenge d rapidly growing Indian pharma industry. 3/5

In a decade, d Indian pharma industry has made significantly rigorous progress in adopting d best pharma practices, techniques, standard processes, R&D and hv become d world leader in supplying quality medicines across d therapeutic areas to the world, including the the USA. 4/5

At the same time, Indian pharma industry has to be more cautious to raise its own standards in medicine, as this is the biggest opportunity in becoming a world leader in healthcare, medicine and supplier of the other life saving necessities. 5/5
