I'm always amazed whenever I go through old paper notebooks which I used when joining a new org or began working on a new project.

My early notes are usually questions, acronyms, names and confusing scribbles. By the end, the notes have much more clarity. /thread
Flipping through pages, I can see my understanding and confidence growing as time goes by.

Concepts that made no sense at the beginning are demystified by the end.

At the beginning I feel like I'm thrown in the deep end and drowning in information...
...a few months in, I'm swimming confidently and even bringing others into my lane and sharing knowledge, influencing and shaping opinions and leading with knowledge.

Moral of the story is I've learned:
▪︎Not to be too hard on myself for the things I don't yet know.
▪︎Not to let others put me down for learning to "swim". Everyone started from somewhere.
▪︎To trust the process. Time levels everything.
▪︎To stay curious.
