Gleaning from the twitter threads of Assange case management hearing today:

Assange is deemed to be nothing more than decorative in his own defence. If he shows up, he shows up. If he beams in on video conference. All good. Who cares about witnesses, COVID, lockdowns + justice?
Assange, if he is alive, would appear like a decorative, weak, frail butterfly behind a glass frame in May. Baraister was ambivalent about his active, dynamic right to participate in his own defence. His lawyers can't access him. He's in a dungeon in a tinder box about to alight.
As for Assange's partner (AA) and kids -- Baraister is treating them like collateral damage, willing to put them a the mercy of the Paparazzi, electronic stalking, MI5/6, harassment and danger. Endangering their lives is her pleasure.
Even though on Feb 28 Baraister said that time was flexible in the US Extradition case to work around the Glass Box/ fish tank defendant dock, today she switched her tune and it's pedal to the metal.
Today's hearing was yet another example of GaslightingAssange and Torturing him.
No pressure relief by rescheduling to September
No protection of his kids and their mother (AA)
No bail to get out of COVID custody
I doubt the UK would penalize any media outlet that publishes the name of Assange's partner, regardless of a publication ban. The UK favours torturing him, harassing his family and putting both his life and his families' lives in danger.
An important consideration for the Assange family and legal team is, "Who controls the coming out?"
If AA self discloses, the UK wins.
If AA doesn't "come out", the UK media win and make tons of money.
I wish there were a way to raise legal funds through this Catch 22 situation: People make a donation or engage in an auction to find out AA's name.

It is a horrible situation. Two kids are involved. Not that the UK cares.
The UK does not care about Assange being exposed to COVID-19 and intensifying prison conditions. Is there pleasure in knowing the UK is not only torturing Assange but his family as well, who watch and beg for his release?
The UK has obviously learned a lot from its US Defense counterparts: How to kill a high-value detainee, have complete disregard for the surviving family and also justify the deaths of prisoners in custody. It's possible Belmarsh inmates become collateral damage to Assange's death
There might be some merit in having Assange's partner emerge, put a face to the family who is tormenting over the ongoing torture (physical, mental and judicial) that is happening to Assange.
When a targeted killing happens in a middle Eastern country, usually the West does not "meet" the partners/wives/kids of the victim. The only thing reported in Western media is the "victory" of the kill. That's what the US likes. The media accolades.
Belmarsh prison is a cruel place-holder for a person who has not been convicted, has known chronic lung problems, is a torture victim and facing-off to the United States in 40 days. HoldMyBeerBelmarsh is UK Murder.
Also, this is a horrible time to become a Child You Tube star, but maybe Assange's kids would be good digital students/friends with kids around the world? Maybe grandpa / AA could read books online and have story time w Assange's kids. Or not. Launch an Assange Circle Covid Kids
