As we celebrate @SupportGenHope's 10th anniversary, I'm amazed looking at this photo of 3 young mothers from our very first Scholar class, who are all college graduates now. We have so much to be proud of and so much to look forward to.

I didn't expect to be celebrating our anniversary from my home rather than our office, but in many ways, it's a full-circle moment. When I launched @SupportGenHope in 2010, with a class of 7 Scholars, I was operating out of the basement of my house.

And while #coronavirus makes this a difficult time to celebrate this milestone, I'm so inspired by the community that we've built, and now more than ever, we need to find every opportunity for joy.

If we've learned anything in our 10 years, it's that challenges will arise, but we can - and will - overcome them.

This was my experience as a young mom @williamandmary, it's something I've repeated over and over to myself and my team as we've carefully grown @SupportGenHope, & it's the creed of the nearly 100 inspiring Scholars we serve today and 50 alums.

For us, every challenge presents an opportunity, laying bare important considerations and ways we can improve our support for #studentparents and their children.

Thank you for joining us on this journey and powering a movement to help young families transform their lives. Together, we've built an incredible model. Now, we look toward the next 10 years w/ big dreams for transforming whole systems. #2gen #thefutureisfamily
