when pandemic starts to recede. The plan of action looks something like this: Dem governors that have stood out in the virus response, @NYGovCuomo and @GavinNewsom will be leading the charge to underscore @POTUS shortcomings during the crisis. Meanwhile, here's the VP short list:

Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer @GovWhitmer appears at the top for obvious reasons given the state's importance in last election. Strong second I hear is @amyklobuchar, who obviously appeals to blue collar and suburban women and is from the Midwest;

next is @RepValDemings, an African American congresswoman with strong law enforcement credentials from another important state, Fla. I'm not yet putting @NYGovCuomo on the short list because he keeps telling people he doesnt want the job.

Obviously if Biden falters, the party and his people might decide they need someone of Cuomo's stature on the ticket. More as I get it.
