Like I stated earlier, I informed my NMA-FCT chairman @PhilipsEkpe of this info and that's why I'd been trying to get the hospital where this was said to have occurred.

The information he got back is:

1. Doctors are not given these cloth masks for use. They use the surgical mask.

These cloth masks were made by the nursing association as an innovation to help buffer their nurses' work.
2. The nylon gloves are used by the cleaners in the hospital for their duties, which was the normal practice before COVID-19.

Doctors use the latex gloves for work.
Yes, I will say that in this era of COVID-19, nylon gloves for cleaning may not be adequate and the protocol on this should be changed.

But we need to ensure we have the right information sent out to the public arena at all times.
