Parks are all closed, so I took a #covidtour of only streets I’d never walked in my @HollywoodFL neighborhood. A thread:

1) A warrior in the alley guarding the garbage cans.

2) These beautiful yellow bell flowers the size of a wine glass.

3) Whoa, a hidden footbridge I’d never noticed before! Let’s cross...

4) A mysterious cat staring me down through the window behind a velvety curtain.

5) A metal hand bolted into the top of a fence post. Is this to hold stuff? Reminds me of that movie ‘Deliverance.’

6) I’ve seen these SFL Water Management District signs for years but never noticed the alligator has his name tattooed down his chest. Very gangster, Freddy.

7) A picture of some guy (is that a young Ron Paul) peeking above a fence and an entire flagpole perched on a truck. I politely asked some lady taking groceries out of her car if she knew who the picture of the guy was, and she just scowled at me.

8) DO NOT CUT THE COCONUTS, PEOPLE.
