In our ongoing conversations with #NFFC we have discussed the issue of furloughing staff. The club confirmed that a number of non-playing staff have been furloughed and that the club will top up the 80% to 100%, ensuring all receive their full salary.

This is clearly a fast moving, complex situation and there are difficult questions for clubs, leagues and the wider football industry. We will continue to discuss the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic with the club - the situation changes daily if not more frequently than that.

As part of our work with @WeAreTheFSA we have supported calls for an evolution of the regulation of the football industry and we remain committed to that - it's possible that the situation right now adds further weight and focus to that effort, across the landscape.
